Therapeutic Treatment

There are several advantages to sending your troubled teenage son to our all boys treatment center. There are three components to our program that you should know about, and each one contributes to each boy’s overall health, wellness, and well-being. Therapy: Liahona Treatment Center has licensed and experienced therapists and counselors to provide individual and group counseling. Typical teen issues include and are not limited to ADD/ADHD, abandonment, and adoption issues, abuse, depression, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and substance abuse. Regular therapy that is consistent and frequent provides the best chance for troubled youth to rehabilitate. Academics: The academic part of Liahona Treatment Center program is run by licensed teachers and helps teen boys not only catch up to their grade level but helps instill a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. By incorporating an individualized education plan for each boy, we help teens achieve at or near grade level performance. We even have life skills classes and can prepare boys for a college or vocation training. Recreation: Troubled teen boys are often in such a negative place that their world doesn’t seem very interesting. Sometimes they don’t know how to have real fun or be entertained in positive and healthy ways. Our recreational component means that teen boys learn to love life again, and our activities include hiking, biking, camping, water sports, skiing and more. Bits learn how to set and reach goals, how to build trust, and develop the self-confidence they need to succeed in the world. Moving your son to Utah may seem a little far from you at first, but in reality, it’s just a short distance away.
