Military Schools in Alaska for Troubled Teens

It can be exhausting and disruptive to home life to parent a teen with behavioral issues. While it would be ideal to be able to provide everything your child needs at home, it may not be possible to give him the full time help he needs. Many parents begin the research process by looking for military schools in Alaska, however, we have found that a greater number of teens thrive in an outside environment. Some of the reasons for this include :

·         The chance to reside full time in entirely new surroundings where teens can be free from the triggers and negative associations they may be dealing with in their day to day lives.

·        Therapeutic programs give parents and their teen the opportunity to take a step away from each other while they address individual challenges that contribute to poor communication.

·         Full time rehabilitation programs offer respite for parents while their son is supported in an environment devoted to helping him turn his life around.

For almost 15 years, more troubled boys have found success at Liahona Academy than a military school in Alaska. Located in the scenic deserts of southern Utah, Liahona Academy is ideally placed to implement a combination of academics, therapy and healthy outdoor activities that boys need to gain confidence and overcome their challenges. Each teen receives one on one guidance from experienced staff in order to ensure that their plan of care fits their unique needs.

Below is a short video which will show you how the program at Liahona Academy is more equipped to help troubled boys than military schools in Alaska. We know that this process is intimidating and our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible.

As you can see, Liahona Academy is dedicated to helping your troubled teen gain the skills he needs in order to become the confident, emotionally healthy young man you know he can be.
